Filtermate builds its own specialised Whole House Water Filtration Systems at our facility in Western Australia.  Our units are shipped around the country and the region.  In addition to our own range of trusted and high quality water filters, we were agents for the WaterGuard range of UV filters built by Cynortic in New Zealand. The WaterGuard is an established and trusted name in Australia and Filtermate is able to supply a complete range of Waterguard spare parts and consumables.
 

About Filtermate

Filtermate began trading as WaterGuard WA Australia in 2010. The business was originally the Western Australia Distributor for the WaterGuard brand of drinking water filters built by Cynortic  in Tauranga, New Zealand. Following the sale of the New Zealand business by the original owner in early 2014, WaterGuard WA ceased being a distributor but continued to act as agent for the WaterGuard UV filter systems and to this day sells a comprehensive range of WaterGuard spare parts and consumables.

The Company commenced building the Filtermate range of household water filters in 2015 with the first models having been tested under Australian conditions for over 12 months.  Due to the fact that our filters are used in harsh climates in diverse geographical locations, we are focussed on strict quality control and excellent customer service.

Filtermate UV filters are the only Australian built whole house drinking water filters that come pre-assembled and enclosed in a a stylish rust and splash proof enclosure. The water filters are fully pressure tested prior to leaving our premises and are simple to install, either by a licensed plumber or DIY enthusiast (note: a licenced plumber is required to fit the systems to municipal water supplies).

We are a family business built primarily on referrals and supported by a passion for customer service. We operate out of premises in Subiaco, Perth, Western Australia. Our UV filters are shipped throughout Western Australia and the country. We have clients using our UV filters to treat water from many different water sources, including tank water, dam water, irrigation channels and river water. Our Citi range of drinking water filters is increasingly being used to filter municipal water and remove chlorine and other compounds.

We pride ourselves on product improvement and continually evaluate our product to identify areas for improvement and enhancement. Not only do we pressure test each drinking water filter system during and after construction, our UV filter cylinders and filter housings underwent more than 12 months onsite testing prior to being integrated into the product. We are shortly to replace some of the stainless steel fittings with new fittings designed to make it easier to service the unit and ensure they remain the most hassle free drinking water filter solution available.

Our best-selling Filtermate Ranchmate accounts for the vast majority of all our sales. This unit is simple and flexible to use without some of the technical complexity of the more expensive models and supporting excellent flow through rate. The unit can be installed in parallel to deliver additional flow capacity and a wide range of options are available in the Ranchmate PLUS model to enhance the system to deliver automatic shutoff and draining.
